  The building is closed and no-one answered the phone number I got from the tourist information in Cluj. From the outside it's quite impressive. Is it really in use as Wikipedia claims? I don't think so.

  באמצע שום מקום בית כנסת מפואר מבחוץ . יחסית למה שיש בארץ הוא נראה מדהים. נחמד לראות בית כנסת בגולה. כמובן שיש עליו גרפיטי אנטישמי. תסתכלו בצד ימין בתמונה. אבל בתכלס שיקפצו לנו. הבית כנסת היה סגור. לא שהתכונו להכנס.אבל למידע. ולא נראה פעיל.
